Description: Lancaster's Central Market is famous. For more than a century, it was one of a number of such markets in the city. However, as the city changed, markets closed, so for years Central Market was the only farmers' market available in our city. As part of Lancaster's renaissance in recent years, other markets have once again emerged. Each is a unique and lively addition to city life. This painting celebrates one of our new/reopened markets: the Eastern Market.
